How much has the republican party spent trying to convince people that health care reform (oh sorry..."ObamaCare") is going to cost people half their paychecks and turn the country into a communist dictatorship ala 1984? Most of that money comes from corporate lobbying, generously donated by men who would rather see people who can't afford health insurance get sick and die if it means they can afford a few more private jets. Sorry, I just don't see how taking steps to help everyone get affordable health insurance and putting the cost on the backs of large corporations that don't value their employees enough to offer health benefits is a bad thing.
